This was a ridiculously fun shoot! Mad props to our rockin’ director, producers, art department, location scouts, PA’s & the rest of the crew who worked tirelessly to hammer out all of the crazy details. Just to name a few hurdles we had to work through:

• Contacting original mural artists for proper retouching materials & usage permissions
• Wind cooperation for the kite flying scene but not too much for our road bike race along the coast
• Permits & equipment for a full multi-piece band to jam out in the middle of the downtown streets
• Props and wardrobe to create a full-blown wedding reception scene. Fun BTS fact on this scene: once it got dark enough, we began to shoot the celebratory sparklers, when all of a sudden massive fireworks started going off in the distance! So what did we do? Turned the camera around, hustled our talent into position and took advantage of an awesome impromptu backdrop opportunity!
• A 3-person skate train bombing a high traffic hill over and over to get just the right shot (Skater #1 – main talent, Skater #2 – 2nd talent shooting main talent with LG V20 phone, Skater #3 – camera op with an Alexa shooting skater #2, shooting skater #1!)
